At the world mobile Congress in Barcelona, the owner of the brand Nokia has introduced a new version of the iconic 3310 and three smartphones. The cost of the remake of the famous Nokia phone will be €10 euros less than projected.
Finnish Global HMD, which received a license to manufacture smartphones and tablets Nokia for a period of ten years, on Sunday, February 26, presented version of the classic Nokia 3310 in a new design at the world mobile Congress (Mobile World Congress MWC) in Barcelona, said in a statement received by RBC.
New Nokia 3310 has a 2-megapixel camera, MicroSD slot and MP3 player. The creators promise that the phone will be able to work 22 hours of talktime and a month in standby mode, by analogy with the classic Nokia 3310, popular in the early 2000s.
Retail price new Nokia 3310 will average €49 (about 2.8 thousand rubles at the current exchange rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation). The phone will be available in four colors: glossy red and yellow and matte grey and blue.
Information that Nokia will present a remake of the model 3310 was discussed in the media the last few weeks, however, according to the portal Venture Beat, the price of the device was to be €59.
Together with Nokia 3310 at MWC was presented three smartphones: Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3. The new line runs on the Android operating system Nougat, all devices default to Google Assistant. The retail price of these devices will range from €139 to €229 depending on the model.
Local prices and dates of start of sales of the new line will be announced in the second quarter of 2017.
