Ramzan Kadyrov, the acting head of Chechnya, announced that he had asked Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov to solve the issue of recapitalization of the company “resorts of the North Caucasus” for the construction of internal infrastructure of the ski resort “Veduchi”. About this Kadyrov wrote on his page on Instagram on Friday.
Kadyrov wrote that he met Siluanov in Moscow on Thursday. According to him, the meeting discussed, including issues related to the budget of the Chechen Republic, and implementation of project, ZAO “IST Kazbek, in which in the Shali district of Chechnya, a complex production of construction materials. Siluanov promised to provide support in the implementation of the mentioned problems, Kadyrov said. The Ministry of Finance at the time of publication has not commented on this information.
“Veduchi” — all-season ski resort, created in the Itum-Kalin district of the Chechen Republic. On its construction Kadyrov announced in 2010. The total investment volume of 18.5 billion rubles, of which RUB 6.6 billion — public spending, 11.9 billion rubles — private. In February 2016, the businessman Ruslan Baysarov in an interview with RBC said that he invested in the construction of the resort is almost 2 billion rubles.
