According to the government order, travel on the stretch of highway “Ukraina” in the Kaluga region will be paid until may 1, 2109 year

For travel on the 70-kilometer section of the highway M3 “Ukraine” in the Kaluga region (124-194 km), drivers will have to pay 92 years, to be signed by the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev the order.

“To establish that use of the site of public roads of Federal value M3 “Ukraine” Moscow — Kaluga — Bryansk — border with Ukraine in the Kaluga region on a paid basis until may 1, 2109 of the year”, — stated in the document published on the portal of legal information.

According to the same document, want to save money drivers can use for free use of “bypass” roads with a length of 123 and 135 km.

The project of reconstruction, maintenance, repair, overhaul and operation on a paid basis highway M3 “Ukraine” in the section 124-194 km (passes through Maloyaroslavets, Dzerzhinsky areas of the Kaluga region and city district of Kaluga) is implemented in the framework of long-term investment agreement signed between the State company “Avtodor” and JSC “DSK “Avtoban”. Previously, the term of the agreement was defined in 23 years.

The traffic on the section of motorway M3 “Ukraine” (from 124 to 173 km) was opened in September 2016. March 1, 2017 at the site began testing the charging system, with on 20 March, the toll it must be paid.

In August 2016, the head of the “Avtodor” Sergey kelbakh said that the length of toll roads in Russia by 2020, it is planned to increase by 4 times — from the current 500 km up to 2 thousand.

In 2014, the government of Russia issued a number of orders under which paid for a period until may 1, 2109 year was declared seven sections of the road M4 “don”, which runs from Moscow via Voronezh, Rostov-on-don, Krasnodar to Novorossiysk.
