At the end of August “Naftogaz” will complement the claim to “Gazprom” in the Stockholm arbitration, said the head of “Naftogaz”. The discontent of the Ukrainian companies led to a drop in pressure in the transmission system

Ukraine August 26 to submit to the Stockholm arbitration a Supplement to the claim to “Gazprom” for the transit of gas to reduce pressure in the transmission system, said broadcast Ukrainian “Fifth channel” the head of “Naftogaz” Andrey Kobelev.

“This will reach up to 26 August this year, when Naftogaz will apply the latest so-called performance, that is, a list of all materials for arbitration for the consideration of our suit in the transit of natural gas,” — said KOBOLEV, answering the question of whether “Naftogaz” to appeal against in arbitration, the limitation of Russia’s pressure in the pipes (quoted by “RIA Novosti”).

At the end of July this year, the Ukrainian side said about the reduction of gas transit. In particular, according to the operative data of PJSC “Ukrtransgaz”, 24-25 July, the transit through the gas transportation system (GTS) of Ukraine was reduced to 154-155 million cubic metres of gas per day compared to 180-210 million cubic meters in the first two decades of July.

COBOL was then called the lower transit pressure from Moscow. “The transit volumes have fallen even more, they are now a record low. We associate with the pressure that the Russian Federation to Ukraine, “Naftogaz of Ukraine” with the aim, firstly, to minimize the income from this business, and secondly, I think that’s part of the tactics of promoting Nord stream-2″, — he said.

The head of “Ukrtransgaz” Igor Prokopiv stated that if during the year the technical application of transit averaged about 200 million cubic meters per day, “now they have fallen sharply without the explanations of the Russian side to 130-140 million cubic meters”. “The Russians are technically substantiate the repairs on their networks. The second possible cause is the over-saturation of European market of gas. I don’t think that the Russians deliberately do not fulfill the users claim that they have done in 2014-2015 and suffered heavy penalties,” he said.

The representative of “Gazprom export” (100% belongs “to Gazprom”) has informed “RIA Novosti” that the reduction of gas supplies occurred due to weather conditions and lower customer. “It should be noted that due to planned renovations in other areas starting next week delivery on the Ukrainian gas transport corridor will increase,” he said.

On 9 August the company announced the failure of “Gazprom” contract of pressures at the gas transit through Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian company, 8 August “Gazprom” has sent a request to the company to increase the volume of transportation of natural gas to European consumers by 20% to 275 million cubic meters per day.

“The increase of Russian partners argued the repair of the gas pipeline “Nord stream”, — stated in the message and it was noted that “the Russian side” did not take the necessary actions for compliance with contractual pressures on border gas metering stations”.

Later, “Ukrtransgaz” reported that fully complied with a request of “Gazprom”.
